This guide is intended for graphic designers and studios who are preparing final documents for production of printing templates<\/b> (so-called films) for classic screen printing<\/b>. It's not a preview of the design on the T-shirt, but a technical data for colour separation<\/b>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

What do we require?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
  • Each colour separately
    <\/b>Separate each colour into separate pages PDF<\/b>. For example, a two-colour theme = a two-page PDF where each page contains only one colour.<\/li>
  • All in black
    <\/b>Prepare the data in black and white<\/b>:
    <\/span>Black = what is printed
    <\/b>White or blank = not printed
    Don't worry about the actual colors of the motif, we determine those based on what we are going to print.<\/li>
  • Vector or bitmap - both are OK
    <\/b>It doesn't have to be a vector. Just a bitmap, but:
    - Minimum 300 dpi
    <\/b>In 100% real size<\/b>in which it will be printed
    <\/span>- File format
    <\/b>- Ideally multipage PDF
    <\/b>- Each page = one colour
    - No transparencies, shadows, effects or colour layers
    - Trim marks and fallout
    <\/b>- Add crop marks<\/b><\/li>
  • If you are printing all the way to the edge (e.g. for posters), add 3 mm drop<\/b> from all sides<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    Don't send:<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
    • Design in colours without separation<\/li>
    • Thumbnails, mockups, background documents<\/li>
    • Incomplete PSD\/AI files without split layers<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
